Next is Jayme! Jayme loved being part of the Elite team for so many years, it taught her so much and she met so many special friends over the years. Anyone who knows Jayme, knows that she is known for constantly getting into trouble for chatting with Sam and Sophie in class. Jayme loves talking with anyone and everyone and telling stories and really enjoyed sharing in the classes gossip circles! One time Jayme started the cheese touch during dance class. For the rest of the n...ight all of the dancers in the class, danced with their fingers crossed to ensure they never got the cheese touch. Jayme Burrell will be attending Saint Lawrence College in Kingston this coming fall in the Advertising and Marketing Communications program. Jayme enjoys running her own businesses and is looking forward to learning what it takes to be an entrepreneur. Jayme will miss you all so much (& we will definitely miss her & all the stories). In honour of our year coming to a close, we wanted to recognize our comp A & B graduates! Things might’ve not turned out the way we had hoped, but congratulations on the year you did have & we cannot wait for what the future has in store for you all! First up, Avery. Avery loved dancing at Elite, she truly enjoyed the ongoing challenge, competition and high expectations that was consistently and fairly expected of her. She will miss dancing on stage. In addition to dance,... Avery held the position of Vice-President of Student Council at All Saints Catholic High School, she was able to enjoy various responsibilities for her school community in 2019-2020. One of Averys happiest moments was when she was performing her solo for the first time for Gail and the teaching staff at rehearsal and being very nervous. When she ended her performance, Gail’s enthusiastic response was Avery Shetler, I would have Never, Ever guessed this was your first solo. You danced like you’d done solos for five years! For Fall 2020, Avery was offered a Scholarship to attend Queen’s University to study Biology and Psychology in the Bachelor of Science Honours Program. See more
