I’m so lucky to have volunteered for @calgarypride for the past 15 years. My first volunteer gig with them was in 2005, and while I often miss great volunteer opportunities while working on the road, it always feels good to join when I can. The 30th anniversary logo is just SO beautiful!! Their #ourpride initiatives this year have been incredible. So many educational sessions, tons of online content, and safely distanced in-person activities. @csicalgary has been promoting Pride week and we all did a fun photoshoot thanks to @amyvanbuscar and @davehollandpics .

Coping strategies to help children stay in control of their thoughts

We know this is a tough pill for many to swallow, but the decision was made with regards to the health and safety of our athletes, coaches and support staff. The COC is urging the IOC to postpone these games to mitigate risk. It’s okay to feel how you’re feeling about it. I encourage you to reach out family, friends, your MPC, coaches or anyone else to chat through this unprecedented time. We are all here to support you. I am so proud of our country for being leaders and for doing what’s right. @csicalgary
