Confidence To be clear there is a difference between being confident and being egotistic. Confidence is needed to find success. ... It is knowing that you are capable and can achieve what goals or tasks that are in front of you. It enables you to put aside insecurities and uncertainties you may have as well as silence those voices who doubt you. For some confidence comes naturally, while others need to work on it. Confidence levels can fluctuate it is important to learn skills to help deal with these fluctuations. We all have to channel our inner Little Engine that Could, and remind ourselves I Think I Can and then do it. What is your favourite quote about confidence? This is something our children need to hear. They are truly amazing and have shown strength and resilience that many of us adults could only hope for. Remind the children in your life that they are special and even though they may be struggling at some things during this time, they are BRAVE, STRONG and SMART.

I have been trying to figure out what to post today in regards to #bellletstalkday, this article gave me the inspiration I needed. The mental health struggles that many are facing right now do to COVID-19 is horrible. Our youth are facing things everyday that we as adults are having a difficult time comprehending and managing. Though the isolation of the guidelines definitely is playing a role in our children's mental health, what we all need to realize is that it goes beyon...d that and getting back to school, sport and seeing family is not going to fix everything that they are dealing with, and in some cases may make it worse. I hope that a positive that comes out of this pandemic is that more people realize that mental health is ongoing, can effect everyone and needs to be a focus of not only our health care system but for all of us. It does not just effect adults or teens, young children also suffer. I have for years seen how people look for a physical reason why a child acts or reacts the way they do. They are not little versions of adults but can suffer from mental health issues just as much as them. I apologize for the long post, but we need to acknowledge that mental health is an all age issue. So even after today is over and we return back to our familiar lifestyle of a year ago, remember what it was like for you and your family (including your children) and know that there are those out there who are dealing with those thoughts and feelings everyday, long before COVID happened and long after it will be over. #mentalhealth #MentalHealthForAll #mentalhealthforkids https://edmonton.ctvnews.ca/covid-19-contributing-to-body-r See more
