From balayage to this amazing SPLIT COLOUR! The dark side was a colour correction while the light side was a colour transformation. Each side needed to be treated completely different, each with their own specific steps. Dark Side:... First Hannah filled all of the pre-existing light pieces, and finished with an overall chocolate brown shade. Light Side: Virgin application of isolation foils. This means each sectioned to be lightened starting 1/2" away from the root and separated by foils. After she finished applying the ends she went back through and applied at the roots with a fresh bowl of lightener for optimal strength and lifting power. She finished with a ShadesEQ Gloss and there you have it! This turned out exactly as we had hoped, what do you guys think? Are you into this new "Split" trend?
