But sadly, and all-too-often, we try to satisfy our inner hunger with outer solutionsinordinate relationships with people, possessions, substances, and processes that simply cannot fill the inner voidand leave us vulnerable to all kinds of addictions. God created us to be in relationship with Him! He’s a jealous... God who wants to be our all-in-all! Not until we invite God to fill our emptiness can we finally find the completeness we yearn for. Only an intimate relationship with God can satisfy our deepest longings, sustain us through difficulties, bring light to our darkness and give us joy and peace beyond human understanding. Everything else leaves us craving more. Today may you be filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! He alone can satisfy your deepest yearnings. He alone can fill your cup! He alone can make you whole! God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26

Granted, you may not have all the answers, but God’s Spirit living in you does! Like the Father and the Son, the Spirit is all-knowing, all-wise, and all-powerful. The Spirit of truth living in you will apply God’s word to your present-day-life situation in a meaningful way as He faithfully guides you into all truth. Today is the day to remember that God is with you in the middle of the muddleand His Spirit living inside of you is greater than anything that will ever come against you. When the Holy Spirit dwells in your heart through faith, joy flows from God’s heart to your h...eart like a never-ending streama stream of living water that never goes dry, no matter how arid the conditions around you. God's joy gives you strength in adversity and courage to stand firm in times of trial. God's joy brings you comfort in sorrow, assurance in doubt and hope when all seems hopeless. Yes, you were made for joyfull joy, complete joy, overflowing joy. May that joy be yours in full measure today, for the joy of the Lord is your strength! The day to serenade God with the new song he has given you to sing! Sing of his greatness! Praise Him for his faithfulness, his love, his compassion, and His tender mercies. Give music, rhythm, and words to your heartfelt gratitude for the good things God has done for you. God is your strength, your song, and your salvationand He is worthy of your joyful songs of praise!
