More of those yummy little cottage cheese bundles. I’m going to try these with a cream dill gravy I learned to make when I lived in Beausejour! That will definitely be a cheat night!!!

Part two of the cottage cheese pirogies! I also made a dozen sauerkraut and two pizza pirogies for Rod and I to try (I ran out of filling again )

Anyone needing warm woollies for the upcoming March-going-out-like-a-lion storm? Most items are BOGO or slashed from original prices.

Well the shelving is up in the greenhouse I will be picking up soil Monday and getting things growing in here! Well have veggies, flowers and even some fruit (ground cherries so yummy!!!) I’ll be placing a planting bed in front of the greenhouse, just not sure what’s going in there other than chives...maybe green onions and a few veggie plants...we’ll see!... And give some love to my LOL shadow Nymmie...she’s my loyal and constant companion in almost everything I do on the homestead!

Today’s endeavour on the homestead! Pies, pies, pies! The dough for pastry is done and after supper I’ll be cooking up fillings, assembling and then into the freezer they go. To heat, place frozen pie on a cookie sheet or pizza pan and cook for an hour at 350. Just like fresh baked!!! I’ll post pictures pies when they are done

Success!!! Apple jelly turned out nice and firm after round two! The next time my jelly doesn’t set I will reserve some for drizzling over pancakes. Thank you Bonnie Lacroix Lahosky for the suggestion.
