Effective Saturday at midnight, the province is ordering the closure of arenas/indoor rinks. Therefore we will be discontinuing our discounted private ice rentals. Thank you to everyone who booked time and our apologies to those who had hoped to use the arena next week. There are some ice slots still available for rental if you want to get on the ice this week. The rate is $50 per hour and rental groups are limited to a single family/household. Please contact Murray at 780-645-1539 to book an ice slot.

2020/2021 Membership's are now due. $250 for a single membership $400 for a family membership ... Non Member fee's are $30 and you must have an active member present and payment arranged prior. Forms available at the arena in the kitchen. Payment can be arranged through Etransfer, Canada Post or in person. Please do not leave payment of any kind in the drop box. AG Ross Arena is temporarily offering discounted ice rentals during the provincially mandated sports shutdown in our region. The rate is $50 per hour and rental groups are limited to a single family/household. One-to-one indoor training, such as training with a fitness trainer or coach, is also permitted. Please contact Murray at 780-645-1539 to book an ice slot.

Only about half of all tickets in the draws have been renewed for the past few draws, so there's been a streak of non-winning tickets drawn.

Edit: We have decided to proceed with discount ice rentals while our user groups are unable to run. Please note that we will only flood approx once per week, and the ice will not be as cold as when we are operating under normal conditions. Contact Murray to book ice times. The arena is looking at the possibility of offering ice rentals for individual/family rentals (single household) during the sports pause at a discounted rate of $50 per hour. Before we commit, we need t...o gauge interest, as it means keeping the plant running full out instead of taking measures to reduce our utility usage. We will not be able to offer public skating or shinny until the covid related regulations change. However, we are offering ice rentals - contact Murray at 780-645-1539 to get back on the ice.

It’s that time of year! The ice is almost ready and we are about to open for the season. However, we’ve had to make some covid related changes to stay in compliance with Alberta regulations. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer public skating or shinny under the current guidelines. We are still accepting ice rentals, and our organized sports groups are still offering programs (see contact information at the end of this post). We will not be open to the general public exce...pt for specific public events, e.g. game days. Otherwise, only activity participants (e.g. skating families, hockey families) are to be in the arena during their rental times. We are asking attendees to socially distance and wear a mask when that is not possible. Practice proper hand and respiratory hygiene (wash or sanitize hands frequently, cover coughs). Please sign our contact tracing log each time you visit the arena. We are permitted a maximum of 100 spectators at events.
