Each has journeyed this journey of loss, Accepting comfort in many ways. Our love for John will not be diminished; The gifts he shared will always remain. Our hearts remember the days that were shared. Our hearts remember the love that was given. Rest in peace, John.

The Memorial Service for John Soloninko will be held: Tuesday, August 29, 2017 11:00 am Third Avenue United Church... 1301 103 Street, North Battleford, Saskatchewan The Memorial Service will be followed by the Burial at the North Battleford Cemetery, followed by lunch at the Church. It is a private burial service. However, Barb has extended a special invitation to all those who have ever worked with John through the years to the cemetery to help see him to his final resting place. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Battleford Union Hospital ICU or the St. Paul Hospital ICU in Saskatoon. Barb, and all the staff at Elk Point Drilling, thank everyone for your kind words and condolences. We are trying very hard to keep Barb up to date with your comments and messages.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of John Soloninko on August 21, 2017. Long time friend and founding partner of our Saskatchewan Office. John started working with Elk Point Drilling in 1962 and opened our Saskatchewan Office in 1967. John was an exceptional water well driller and was well known for his knowledge of water bearing formations throughout Saskatchewan. John loved his work and loved going to work even after he could no lo...nger go out into the field. He will be greatly, greatly missed. A memorial service date has not yet been decided upon but we will keep you informed. John is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara.

Joe and family were originally living in the Elk Point, Alberta area, but after a few years they moved to Edmonton and Joe decided to keep the company name to honour his roots.... Also attached is the earliest EPDC sticker that we have, which is just after they moved to Edmonton. For those of you who don't realize - the HU.87876 was the original phone number lol.
