The Fire Ban reads as follows: 1. No open fires are allowed in campgrounds or in any other area within the County. 2. All fire permits are suspended or cancelled, and no new fire permits will be issued until further notice. This order does not apply to: a) Portable propane fire pits, that are CSA approved or UL certified and are designed for cooking or heating. b) Gas or propane stoves and barbeques, that are CSA approved or UL certified and are designed for cooking or heating. Great turnout this morning ... huge thanks to everyone for makin the trip down cleaned us out of sausage and left next to no pancakes ... lots of smiles and laughs we hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we enjoyed having you... also need to shout out to St. Paul Fire Dept. for letting Sparky come out and play ... thanks again to everyone and congrats to all the prize winners !!!

Just a reminder the Elk Point Firefighters Association brings you our annual Pancake breakfast and Easter egg hunt Friday, March 30th. Breaky will start and 9:00am and the hunt at about 10:00 (please bring your own bags or baskets for the young ones to collect their goodies) LOOK FOR THE BIG BLUE BUILDING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF TOWN
