I have a last minute opening for a manicure or pedicure tomorrow at 12 or 12:30 if anyone wants it!

Hello everyone, I just received official word from our association that I can now provide brow services (wax and tint). I still cannot do facials or other facial waxing for the time being. To be able to provide brow services I must have a face shield which I have just ordered, so I won’t be able to book these services until it arrives. When it arrives I will contact everyone who is patiently waiting for a brow service!... And just a reminder of my new protocols: You must wear a mask to your service, if you do not have one, one will be provided. Our updated guidelines say you must consult your physician before determining that you cannot wear a mask for medical reasons. Please do not book or come to an appointment if you OR anyone in your household is ill, has a fever or has travelled outside the province in the 14 days prior to your appointment. Please wash and sanitize your hands. Sanitizer will be available here. Please do not bring food or drink to your appointment. I will need to have your phone number for contact tracing purposes.

Hello everyone, I just received word that as of June 5th spas and salons can reopen to the public, I know everyone has been waiting patiently for this news! I will be officially reopening on JUNE 8TH to allow time for a few more items to be delivered to me. I will be contacting those who’s appointments I had to cancel starting in March to rebook, once I get those clients booked in, I will be open for new bookings starting with the list of names I have taken in the past few ...weeks. Some information you will need regarding new guidelines set in place by the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia and Dr Strang for safety: Of course, please do not book an appointment or come to an appointment if you are sick, showing any of the listed symptoms for Covid-19, have a fever or have travelled out of the province in the 14 days prior to your appointment. Please remember that you are coming into my home for your services and I want to keep you and my family safe and healthy! All clients will be required to wear a mask (I will also be wearing one). You are welcome to bring your own if you have one, I will have disposable masks on hand for client use. (Exceptions for those with medical conditions that prevent them from being able to wear a mask) Please wash hands prior to service. Hand sanitizer will also be available. EMT payment is preferred, I don’t have debit/credit capabilities. Though I will still accept cash. If you don’t already have my info in your EMT settings, my email is [email protected] I will not be able to offer facial services for the time being and until further notice. This includes: Facials Facial waxing Brow and lash tinting Please refrain from bringing food and drink (except water bottle) to your appointments. Things are going to be very different for a while but I am confident we will all do our best to keep each other safe! To show you that I have taken your health and safety seriously, I have attached some certificates of a few of the online courses I have been busy doing during my time off to refresh my knowledge on infection control! Can’t wait to see you all again :)

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing as well as you can be right now. I want to send out an update as I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries about when I will be able to reopen. There has been no talk of when salons and spas can reopen. We won’t know until the Premier makes an announcement during the daily briefings. Probably won’t be for weeks still!... On that note I want to give a heads up on some changes that will be happening. Though we haven’t received any outline of precautions or guidelines yet, some things I do know is I will have to have some PPE on hand for myself and my clients, also cost of product has gone up. That being said, I will be raising my prices on most services to accommodate this. I won’t be raising them until the SECOND month I am reopen, so for the first month after I reopen, prices will remain the same to allow time to adjust and prepare for the price increase! I will put out an updated price list and more info on protocol once we have the approval to reopen. Take care
