Women Of The Week I love the skin industry & all the amazing laser technology and skin treatments I have learned in my 12 years. I have been lucky to learn from the best & I spent many years working for local Dermatologists. Taking people’s skin concerns and coming up with their unique treatment plan is what I do. Giving people confidence and helping them feel beautiful is the biggest reward for me. We specialize in treatments for dark skin types which is more challengin...g & cannot be safely done in most clinics. We are a black and white owned company and are proud to safely and effectively treat all our amazing and different melanin type clients! When I am not in our beautiful & newly branded laser studio you will find me out adventuring with my family, walking my mastiff Opi and getting outside as much as possible. I love to garden and spend August & September canning the goodies we haul in. The past year has been a roller coaster ride for all small businesses. We rebranded and reopened in a new location March 4, 2020 only to be closed by March 16th due to the restrictions from Covid. We were so thrilled to show everyone our new place which we spent the past year preparing and building. We got a whole 10 days before it was all shut down. At the time it felt like a dream or a cruel joke. We pushed on and had a wonderful reopening in June and then as we hit December the other shoe fell and a second closure! Being a part of this amazing magazine and along other business women here in Edmontonjos an honor. The support in this community has been so positive and truly motivating. The women and their businesses, including Elle & Beauty Inc. are proof of strength, perseverance, community and leadership. I love being a part of these kinds of communities. The best thing I've yet seen today

I’m an RN and one of only a few CANS nurses in Canada (Canadian aesthetic Nurse specialist) . I was a Pediatric nurse at the stollery for almost 20years . Became interested in the skincare industry.I took training in botox, fillers & skincare arizona and ontario. While still working in peds. ... I became very passionate about the beauty industry,when i found it very difficult to find access to professional skincare, quality treatments & honest service. So i made my own clinic. When i started to grow, i had to leave the stollery, as much as my heart will always be there... i knew this would be a new chapter for my career. I needed to focus and give it 100%. I love coming to work everyday, making connections with my clients, having them leave with a smile and feeling a bit better about themselves. Im currently creating my own skincare line called Priority clinical skincare, launching in April! I love teaching our clients about skincare, injectables and how a little can go a long way.
