Hi Members, Please note, due to Covid-19 restriction, we have had to change the Purdy's pick up to curbside only. Curbside pick up will be available;... Tuesday, December 8th from Noon - 3pm Wednesday, December 9th from 6pm - 9pm Once you arrive at the club, call or text 780-266-9164 with pick up name and which car you are driving (if there are multiple people at the same time). Please be patient with us as orders will be delivered one at a time, to you in your vehicle, with hands being sanitized between each order. Please ensure you are wearing as mask, prior to your order coming out, as our Purdy's fundraiser coordinator will be wearing one as well, so we may protect each other. 2 Week Closure - Nov. 13 - Nov. 27 Hello Ellerslie Curlers, In case you missed today’s announcement by Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, effective tomorrow November 13th, there will be a 2-week suspension of indoor group fitness programs, team sports, group performance activities, as well as reduced operating hours for bars and pubs. This means that starting tomorrow, Ellerslie Curling Club will be pushing pause for the next 2 weeks (closed Nov. 13th-27th). At this time, we will ...not be opening the Lounge. All games that fall within this 2-week window will be postponed and re-visited after the pause. With that being said, we now all must accept that these government-issued restrictions are in place to help slow down the spread of COVID-19. Of course, this is ever-evolving, and we will all be on the edge of our seats waiting to hear what comes next from the province. We will re-evaluate after the imposed 2-week shutdown. On behalf of the board of directors of the Hec Gervais Academic & Curling Scholarship foundation, I would like to congratulate Brianna Levesque for being selected as one of the 2020 recipients of the scholarships that are awarded each year. Brianna was a very worthy candidate and exceeded all of the requirements as outlined in the application. Brianna is dedicated to the sport of curling as a competitor, as well as a builder in giving back to the game, all while committing to being successful in her academic endeavours. We wish Brianna every success in the coming year as she continues to excell in her academics and strives to reach her curling goals. It is with broken hearts, that the Ellerslie Curling Club must announce the sudden passing of our Club Manager, Dixie Blackmore. Dixie will be dearly missed by all staff, board members and club members. The Ellerslie Curling Club Board has made the decision to cancel all remaining league play and playoffs for the season due to the potential health risk from the COVID-19 virus to the members and staff. Thank you all for a great season and see you in the fall.

The EACC Tournament of Champions(Cities) has been cancelled due to the Covid-19. These were to be held April 5 9th at the Avonair.
