Time for change I have some sad news to share, Ellison's Market & Cafe told me recently that they have ended their support for the Acoustic Unplugged Sessions. I want to thank everyone that helped make the last twelve seasons so special, starting with Ellison's owners, workers, musicians and so many supporters.... I have many fond memories of sweet sessions, sitting by the wood stove, with community of all ages listening to stories and pure acoustic music, singing and sometimes even dancing. I'm so grateful to have had this opportunity, to realize one of my dreams that was a work of love and get to meet so many people connected with the magic of music. We hosted over 70 different types of acoustic instruments and over 700 sessions. There's so many sweet photos and over 100 videos on our facebook page (and many more never released) if that interests you. Please remember to support live music "As one door closes, another one opens"

Dario and his band Heat Speak have performed at Ellison's and were to return to the Kootenays this weekend

I really appreciate all the sympathies, suggestions, offers and kind words on my last post (Time for change). The open door I'm leaning towards is free time, after working over 60 hours/week between my two jobs during most of the Unplugged Sessions seasons. If someone else is interested, I'd be willing to share my thoughts and chat about possibilities as I will miss it and it sounds like others will too. Happy Thanksgiving
