Say hello to JOSH Josh will be teaching a beginner mixer class Monday's at 515 followed by Jazz Tech + Choreo Level 2 at 630. Josh has infectious energy and y...ou'll always leave feeling inspired! The beginner mixer is a great way for anyone with 0-2 years dance experience to get a taste for a variety of styles. A new focus each week so check out the schedule online under "book my class" for various class styles! Jazz level 2 will focus on building on the technical elements of Jazz while exploring the vast array of offerings this discipline has. A new focus and combo each week! Register online for your class! Learn more about Josh Josh began his training at Allegro Performing Arts Centre after watching his sister on stage at competitions throughout his childhood! He furthered his experience at conventions, workshops, training programs and masterclasses across the island and in Vancouver, working with industry professionals to develop his artistry. As a soloist, he is the recipient of numerous awards and represented Victoria three times at the BC Performing Arts Festival for Stage Dance. After a year of studying at the University of British Columbia, he auditioned and was accepted for the prestigious Honours Music Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, one of Canada’s most competitive performing arts programs. In between school years, he performed on stages across Canada, from Victoria, BC to Charlottetown, PEI, with the national tour of The Dream Catchers, a Canada 150 Signature Project. Other career highlights include performing for Prime Minister Trudeau at the annual Symons Lecture at the Confederation Centre of the Arts and working as a dancer on Disney Descendants under the direction of Kenny Ortega. Not only a versatile performer, Josh’s choreography has been chosen to perform at awards ceremonies and arts summits for colleges throughout Toronto. He recently made his professional debut in Holiday Inn at Drayton Entertainment in Ontario. He is passionate about art, loves to create and is so grateful to be back at home where it all began. @joshuagraetz
