Our family tradition, making Easter cookies for everyone. These cookies are only made around Easter time as they represent the painful sacrifice Jesus made to give us eternal life. The Ka'ek is symbolic to represent the crown of thorns placed on Jesus head, and the Mamoul is symbolic to the sponge of vinegar used to inflict more pain and mock Him.

Now more than ever, a time to reflect and remember that we are not alone, the Lord's sacrifice will anchor us and give us hope for a brighter future.

April Showers usually bring us flowers, but thanks to Covid and all it's restrictions...we need April to shower us with humour and laughter. So that's exactly what I did today. I pranked my family with this fabulous haircut and my new look. My husband politely said it was nice, he will get used to it, my beautiful daughter in law compared me to someone famous...Chris Jenner (who?) and my boys bellowed, "mom what did you do?" They thought it was crazy, courageous, bold...or maybe a mid-life crisis?? It was none of the above only a simple April fool's prank. My reward was simply laughter and smiles...not to mention alot of relief on their part!

Happy New Year 2021! Wishing that this year is filled with peace, health, love and music to all. As we say Goodbye to 2020, we all know what we didn't like about it. But I would like to challenge you on sharing 10 POSITIVE MEMORIES OF 2020 . Let me be the first to start... 1. A new appreciation for family and friends.... 2.
