Even though the club is closed there’s still lots of hard work going on to get things cleaned up and ready for next season. Members have started collecting items from their lockers, the stock room is being emptied and the rings are dry and ready to stay in storage for the summer!

And the ice is officially melting! The rings have been taken out and have been hung to dry so they’ll be all ready to go for next season.

The Elmira curling club is officially closed for the rest of the season. We’re looking forward to being able to play next season where we’ll be celebrating the 65th anniversary of our club!

Happy Halloween! Loving all the Halloween decorations at the club

The ice is in and practice has begun! This week curlers have a chance to come and practice on the ice as well as get a preview of the new safety measures in place this year. The first games of the season start Sunday.

With less than three weeks until the curling season officially begins the ice is almost ready! It’s a new look with only three sheets so extra space between each sheet.
