Effective April 6th Elmvale Veterinary Hospital will be returning to a Curbside mode of delivery of our services. Once we return to the Red Zone we will be able to allow customers into the clinic again. The Drs. and Staff of the Elmvale Veterinary Hospital would like to welcome Dr. Catherine Connellan to our Veterinary Team. Dr Connellan graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1999 and since then has practiced in small animal, large animal, equine and emergency medicine. She operated a solo equine mobile practice before turning her attention to small animals. Her broad-based veterinary experience has given Dr Connellan invaluable insight into the importance of the human-animal bond, human nature and problem solving. She is deeply compassionate about animals and their care-givers and brings this to every appointment. She is truly a country soul and has cats, dogs and a horse on a lovely hobby farm in Tiny, Ontario. Welcome Dr. Connellan!

A huge congratulations go out to Scott and Priscilla who were just accepted to the Veterinary Techinican program at Georgian College! We are so proud of them! Don't worry you will still see their smiling faces around here part time when school starts!

Simcoe Muskoka is going back to Red tomorrow so customers can once again enter the clinic.

Please note the following changes to our services during the COVID-19 outbreak. Effective March 1st 2021 Simcoe County is returning to the Grey Zone and is back in lockdown. In order to comply with Provincial health regulations we will again be returning to a curbside mode for delivery of all veterinary services. As of the above date we will be offering our full range of service but all transactions must be completed without the customer entering the clinic. The only ex...ception to the above policy is for euthanasia when a maximum of two clients per pet MAY be allowed inside. We are still experiencing delays in service due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. The pandemic has caused an increase in the number of cases that we are seeing and despite increasing our staffing levels and hours we are not able to see all clients that wish an appointment. In addition all procedures take longer to complete due to the required steps to keep staff and clients safe. We appreciate the patience and understanding from our clients during the pandemic. From time to time we may have no choice but to refer customers to the Huronia Emergency Clinic in Barrie. See more

COVID update. Now that Simcoe County has moved from the Grey Zone back to Red we are allowing clients to enter the hospital again. Please wear a mask. If you are unable to wear a mask then we can provide curbside service. At this time only one human customer for each pet customer. Please observe social distancing rules within the clinic and use the hand sanitizer on your way in.
