BREAKING NEWS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Premier Ford has just announced informal social gathering limits will be reduced to 10 indoors and 25 outdoors in all regi...ons across the province. This will be in effect for 28 days. This applies to private gatherings such as wedding, parties, celebrations, showers, etc and doesn't include professionally staffed venues such as restaurants, movie theatres or fitness centres etc. Fine for the organizer/host is $10,000. Fine for each individual that attends $750.

Due to the change in temperatures, all splashpads will be closed for the season. The accessible public washrooms at Pinafore Park will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 ...p.m. until September 27, 7 days a week, with the main section open on weekends. After September 27 the accessible washrooms will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., 7 days a week through the winter months, with portable toilets stationed at the playground. Waterworks Park and 1Password Park will have portable toilets on site for the off-season.

Appointments are limited to 15 minutes. Please bring as much relevant documentation and/or identification with you. ODSP and OW faxing services have resumed. All constituents entering the office must provide basic contact tracing information. Please note that masks are required inside the CASO Railway Station for those who are able to wear them and two meters of social distance must be maintained inside the building at all times. We will do whatever we can to accommodate your needs and ensure that you receive quality service in the safest manner possible. Optimist Santa Claus Parade CANCELLED for 2020 August 18, 2020 It is with great sadness and regret that the Optimist Club of St Thomas must inform the City of S...t. Thomas and surrounding area, that the 2020 Optimist Club of St Thomas Santa Claus parade has been cancelled. This decision has not been easy or quick. As you can appreciate, the parade takes many volunteer hours to plan, prepare and run and we hope that the community of St. Thomas will understand and support this decision. The safety of our community and the many volunteers involved in making our parade an annual success, is our first priority. Our hope is that the Optimist Club of St. Thomas Santa Claus parade will return next year on Saturday November 20th. We wish to thank our community for the tremendous support as we continue to provide support for the youth of St. Thomas. Thank you everyone and stay safe.
