Sometimes.... okay, literally every time.... We (Sue + Nicole) look at each other during a ceremony to find we are both BEAMING. We are feeling the love and the connection that our couples share, and it brings giant grins to our faces. Between the two of us, we’ve officiated or planned over 200 weddings and elopements and it never fails to blow our minds how completely unique each one is. What we have seen over the years is that it doesn’t matter if you choose the same locati...on, season, venue, heck you could wear the exact same dress and there would still be zero chance of comparison. Each love story is a reflection of your connection. The little moments you share, the laughter, the energy, your witnesses, the way the light touches your faces - there is no way to replicate it even if you tried. Each love story we celebrate is a gift. You sharing your love blesses us, your guests, your community whether they are there in person or cheering you on from afar. This year is not what we expected. So many of our couples have had to make changes to their initial plans. Had to let go of some of the ways they thought it would be. And each couple has had a completely unforgettable experience of love. The point is, Lovers, that it works. The power of love to uplift and connect us is there, regardless of guest size, location, season, anything. As long as you show up, with your love, that is truly all we need.
