We are pleased to announce that we are now a licensed CBCT (Cone beam computed tomography) facility. This is a special type of x-ray used when regular dental x-rays are not sufficient. It is used to produce 3D images of teeth, soft tissue, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan. We are using it frequently for patients who are having dental implants or who have deeply impacted wisdom teeth. We also accept referrals from other dental offices whose patients require this highly specialized imaging.

As a response to the COVID-19 Pandemic and as an effort from our office to comply with the recommendations of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Public Health unit, we are limiting our practice to EMERGENCIES only. We appreciate your understanding as the world finds its way through this difficult time.
Just a reminder that the best thing you can do to prevent the spread of disease is wash your hands. :)

Don't forget the clocks jump ahead an hour this weekend! Did you know that Port Arthur, Ontario (now part of Thunder Bay) was the first Canadian town to observe Daylight Savings time in 1908? It was originally proposed as a way of conserving energy. This is widely debated today and only 40% of countries around the world still follow Daylight Savings Time. What's your opinion?
Eltanty Dentistry made the nice list this year and Santa rewarded us with a special visit! Merry Christmas everyone!
