Pink Shirt Day is next Wednesday! This day was started in 2007 when two boys stood up for a child who was bullied for wearing pink. They both put on pink shirts, and it didnt take long for several people to follow. This goes to show that a small gesture of kindness can go a long way, whether it helps one person, or thousands. I had the honour of creating a very special logo and print for a dear momma friend. One year ago today, baby Elena passed at only 6 weeks old. The Gift of Baby Elena was started as a non-profit charity to help other mothers who have experienced similar losses. The charity raises money for care packages and even baby monitors for rainbow babies. My dear friend has also spearheaded a campaign to reduce wait times for parents waiting on autopsy results. I cannot say enough about the resiliency and spirit of this family, and despite going through so much tragedy, they are still so determined to make a legacy for sweet baby Elena. Amanda my heart goes out to you today and always.

I had this delightful idea to include a bunny in a basket for an Easter greeting. I was limited to free stock photos, and all I could find were cute puppies in a basket, and a bunny on some grass. Awww nuts. What to do? Well, no problems, only solutions. Isolate the bunny from the grass. Adjust the greenish glow from the grass on the bunnys highlights. Place bunny in basket. Remove all signs of puppies behind bunny, then tweak, tweak, and tweak some more. Voila! Bunny in a basket! Happy Easter from Elysium Design Concepts.

This project is one of my favourites, as the topic is something I am very passionate about. I met Tad many years ago and instantly connected. We got to talking and once I found out what he did, I knew I had to be involved.
