We’ve been quiet here lately! I hope everyone is having a safe start to their 2021. We’ve been busy here but not actually making soap! All the behind the scenes stuff that comes with running the soap business is being caught up on (inventory, inventory, making bath products for my dad because he’s spoiled, more inventory...) and then there’s been the other distractions... ahem comfy and super cute fur babes... and of course my other crafts! I’m not very good at the crafty ...artistic things but that doesn’t matter too much. Love and thought into a gift is more important I think. And there’s a lot of love and thought that goes into the soap we make! We have been quiet but we certainly have not been absent! Next on the list is a thorough scrub down and disinfection of the soap studio and we will be back in there restocking Highwayman among others! Alas it is now 2021! Now for a couple months of writing the wrong year on things and hoping for a better year than the last. At least we started off the day by putting up our gorgeous new calendar! 2020 was a hot mess but we enjoyed some things immensely in the past year! We tried new designs, tried our hand at online sales, participated in a wonderful momma giveaway, and so many other things! But most importantly, we discovered how loyal and amazing our customers are! I m...ean, we had a pretty good hunch that they were fabulous but this last year we saw their support overcome all our obstacles like no craft shows etc. We appreciate it all so so much! Ahhh the life of a soaper... we may have a couple few soaps on the go... Anyone else have a bathroom like this? Or is everyone else patient and using a single bar at a time...? Hmmm What we have in the photograph here is (left to right): Cocoa-Mint, Highwayman, Emperor Falls, Coco-Lav, February Stars, Chvojka’s Big Shot Shaving Soap (upside down to ensure proper drainage for a longer lasting soap), Unscented, and on the other side of my shaving brush is my Double...mint Shampoo Bars! Soooooo.... basically the stuff on the right of my shaving soap is mine and the rest belong to my hubby.
