Shine bright like a diamond! It is Sanma season once again. This sanma (pike, "autumn knife fish") is from Hokkaido, Japan! Limited time only!

We will be closed for a short winter break from Monday, January 29th to Monday, February 5th, 2018. We will reopen for regular hours starting Tuesday, February 6th. Thank you!

Holiday Hours! We are closed on Friday July 1st for lunch, but open for dinner from 530p to 10pm. Regular hours on Saturday & Sunday. We are closed on Monday, and Tuesday. Ematei will reopen on Wednesday July 6th. We hope to see you!

Agedashi tofu. Crispy on the outside to protect the pillowy loveliness once you take a bite. Texture in your mouth. It even comes with tempura medley of shiitake mushroom, eggplant, and sweet potato. We hope you'll like it as much as we do!

Hotaruika sashimi now available! Also know as "Firefly Squid," these bioluminescent squids are famous as millions of these tiny squids light up the coast of Japan when they gather to spawn each year. Available every Wednesday while they last. before it's too late!
