The beauty of the breath creates space, or a pause in our thoughts. This allows us to connect to the emotion that might be rising within, without perpetuating the cycle that doesn’t serve us or stuffing down the emotional energy that needs to flow out of us. As we observe our thoughts.. we ask... is this thought in the present moment, past, or future? Past thinking is connected to depression, self analyzing. By reminding ourselves the past is over and is in the past. We need to let go, learn and grow. The future brings on anxiety and worry, unnecessary for each one of us as the events haven’t happened yet. We need to affirm in the present moment. This is where we actually experience living. Through awareness we experience life consciously, freely, graciously.

I wipe the tears of knowing with deep love and awareness...we have broken a part the pattern of suffering. It is a gift to feel this healing... to set them, us, and our children and grandchildren free. Tears of gratitude, deep understanding and compassionate love.
