Officially hired with the Windsor/Essex First Aid Training Centre as a new part-time instructor. When COVID-19 hit the impact on Embrace was huge. We are slowly recovering and I'm excited for each new client. However, during the beginning of COVID, I needed to prepare for the unknown, and the First Aid instructor seemed to be the best area to practice. I'm excited to add this to my repertoire of certificates and modalities. I love being a facilitator/instructor and this is a great opportunity to start. Embrace Rec is picking up and still accepting new clients too. Sea Turtle Facts & my Logo "Perseverance" They usually lay 100-125 eggs per nest and will nest multiple times, about two weeks apart, over several months. As soon as the eggs hatch (roughly 2 months later), the hatchlings dig out of their nest. This process generally takes a few days. Once they emerge, the tiny turtles hurry to the sea and make their way offshore into the open ocean. Sea turtles face many threats, but those that survive to become adults are decades old.... Adversity and struggle are common, but the ability to persevere and overcome barriers with grace and integrity is why I created my company. I want to use the modalities that have been successful in my own growth, to add to your arsenal of tools and resources.

This post is very much my reality today. I am so proud to be authentically embracing my life as a proud member of the LGBTQ community. This took years of work and discovery before I could fully love myself. During that time, I studied Therapeutic Recreation to help in areas of my emotional well-being... self-esteem, and self-confidence... I specialized to help others. During that time, I also studied Traumatic Incident Reduction to work through my childhood trauma and disco...ver triggers that had inhibited me from fully accepting myself.
