Covid 19 - Continues to keep us all at heightened levels of caution during daily tasks. I write you again with the request that we double up on our defences on the Covid virus. Thus far we have been able to keep employees and as thus families safe. Our actions include great hygiene, wearing masks effectively, staying away when having symptoms. We have supplied disinfectant, made adjustments to shifts whether in yards or camps. We have added cleaning of multi touch portions o...f vehicles between shifts. We have tried to provide social distancing 6ft. We have asked and you have delivered on keeping the bubbles at work and at home as small as possible. We continue to ask for your participation in controlling the possible impact of Covid both at work and at home. I know it is a big ask, we have been at it for some 9 months and are still not through the end. BUT we can make it we can get through the pandemic together! Please speak to your supervisor, your co-workers, and your family. Please keep the pandemic as a forefront in your daily decisions. Yet another one of our operators is very lucky as the truck was parked between them and the work area when it was crashed into by a semi truck. Slow down in the cone zone, flashing lights mean work is happening. Stay off your phone and drive to road conditions. Our truck is not repairable as the box was shoved into the back of the cab.
