Emerge Dance Academy

With the new measures, it only takes a few dancers to fill the studios. But our hearts are sure full having you back! (Ruth is pretty happy too )

We’re super excited to have Jeff Gatti teaching our Wednesday tap classes tonight! Originally from Sherwood Park, Canada, Jeff returned home after 14 years performing and teaching around the world - the last 11 of which he was based out of New York City. He trained extensively in tap, jazz, lyrical and ballet and has taught, choreographed, adjudicated and performed across North America and Europe. His performance credits include featured roles with Princess Cruise Lines and C...elebrity Cruises, commercials, industrials, films in addition to musical theatre and concert dance. Jeff was a cast member of A Few Good Men Dancin’ at the New Victory Theatre in New York and went on to workshop the show for the US National Tour, as well as being on tour with Dancing On Common Ground. He was also fortunate to have performed with :pushing progress: a company in their inaugural season in Dublin, Ireland and New York City. He continues teaching and choreographing throughout the United States and Canada and remains a guest faculty member at studios across North America including Broadway Dance Center, as well as being on faculty with several national dance conventions and competitions. Some highlights from 2020 Thanks to all our dance families for following us on our journey through it. Bonus classes start Monday, January 4th (all details have been sent via email) and our regular schedule resumes Monday, January 11th! Happy New Year

Today we’re also starting our fundraiser! From December 1st - December 19th.... for every Emerge dancer that posts a photo or video of themselves taking class online, we’ll donate $5 to @yegfoodbank (parents can post too! Since we know our young dancers don’t have Instagram). Can’t wait to see you taking class! *Can be a photo or video and a post or a story but you have to make sure you tag us @emergedanceacademy or we may not see it! Help us raise some money for our community!
