Thank you to all who contributed to yesterday’s food drive, shared the post and told friends and neighbors! Creator, Conspire with us to create a world where all have access to nutritious and sustainable food sources,... and none live with scarcity or food insecurity. Redeemer, Save us from oppressive and unjust systems. Mobilize us to be a part of a world response that works in partnership with those of good will to foster equitable resource sharing. Sustainer, Cultivate our resilience and expand our imaginations, so that we might continually find new ways to answer the call to end hunger until all may flourish. Amen. Saturday, November 14 from 10-11 am in the Ebenezer United Church parking lot (1669 Courtice Rd, Courtice) Drive through food drive! Park, remain in your vehicle and the volunteers will remove the donations. Feed the Need in Durham services 62 agencies in Durham Region and for every $1 collected, they can distribute $7 worth of food to those in need. Non-perishable food items and cheques accepted, payable to Feed the Need in Durham, minimum $15 for tax receipt (please ensure full name and address is included).
