Yesterday we took a HUGE risk... We hiked up Mount Work. Now, here's why it was a risk - and no it's not because of the clothes we wore ...it's becaaaause I have had the WORST luck on Mount Work in the past - my first time there I sprained my ankle and could not walk for a month. I was hiking with my dear friend @juliaaseagull who was visiting from ON. And the next time I went there, I had to call 911 because I was sooo lost and the sun was setting and my phone was dying ...and Google Maps was completely and totally useless - the GPS was not able to pinpoint where I was... Shortly after the sun set, my phone died completely and I waited there in the dark for almost 2 hours until - thank goodness - they found me and guided me back to the parking lot. Soo yeah, it's safe to say I've had bad experiences at Mount Work. But, much to my friends and family's chagrin I did not want to write off ever going there again!! Part of me wanted to test out if it was truly cursed for me (2/2 wasn't evidence but 3/3 would've been hahah) but I also didn't want to let fear hold me back. So, yesterday Chris and I hiked up Mount Work and NOTHING BAD HAPPENED!! In fact, we had an awesome (albeit cold) photoshoot at the peak. And, now I know that I CAN survive Mount Work WORTH IT!! Don’t you think? ps.
