We've lost count of how many times we've referred to Ira Glass's gap theory (not a euphemism) in our courses but that's because it bears repeating

So I had been doing pretty well in keeping pace with the #NaNoWriMo word count until yesterday when #firefighter things happened. I’ve learned this month to give writing a spot in each and every day and I did manage about 200 foggy words but now the key will be getting back in the rhythm today.

I’ve tried to turn off my wifi but I also like to research (ok, Google random things) as I write.

Beautiful day to get outside and enjoy our slice of peace in #lunenburgcounty. Also checked in on the flags we placed for the #veterans at rest in Hebbville Cemetery including my grandfather. The first snowfall is melting away but #november2020 is proving to be quite a month already. If you’re a #writer who’s doing #nanowrimo you might be killing the word count, holding the line or already feeling like you’re falling behind. I’m somewhere in that middle group, but it’s a win as long as I keep writing.
