Christ Church Cathedral and the Emily Carr String Quartet are pleased to announce their second series together since the outbreak of the pandemic. Following on the resounding success of their Portraits series, the quartet will now play Ludwig van Beethoven’s complete string quartets in this nine-concert series, beginning on March 12 and running into the Fall. Tomorrow, March 12th, at 7:00pm (LIVEstream) we will embark on a nine month journey of Beethoven's complete string quartets. We are so excited that at last we are doing one of our dream projects. On Friday we start our Beethoven cycle with Concert #1. We are also very excited that our fabulous friend wonderful Robert Holliston will join us to talk about the two quartets we will be performing. We hope that you join us at 7 pm on Friday.
We are pleased to announce with Music at Christ Church Cathedral Victoria that we will be presenting a second series together since the outbreak of the pandemic. Following on the resounding success of the Portraits series, we have planned a complete performance of Ludwig van Beethoven’s string quartets over nine concerts beginning on March 12 and running into the Fall of 2021.
