"Seeing the Belle of Amherst yesterday afternoon at the Roedde House Museum gave me the feeling that I have been twice blessed. The first time was when I saw Julie Harris in the play when it was originally staged in Boston in the 1970’swhich I loved. The second blessing is seeing this performance starring Renee Bucciarelli. Renee is absolutely fantastic in the role! With seeming ease, she embodies the spirit of Emily Dickinson and gives a tremendous, heartfelt performance. The setting in the Roedde House parlour is authentic, intimate and the perfect setting to experience this beautiful play. It was a completely enjoyable and fulfilling afternoon. Please see this performance if you can. It is sure to stir something deep within you, too! Rob Austin-Murphy Blaine, WA"
