I am not going to say anything about these words, but only that may this be a reminder to reflect on what kind of person you are at this very moment. #BLM #blacklivesmatter #whiteprivilage #standtogether #cantbreathe

I’ll respect your opinion as long as your opinion doesn’t disrespect anybody’s existence. If we stand together, we will make a difference. #BLM #blacklivesmatter #standtogether #cantbreathe #noticewhiteprivilege

5 Things you should always ask your graphic designer: If you have ever worked with a Graphic Designer or if you ever plan to, sometimes they can through a lot of information at you that can seem overwhelming or maybe you just don't understand. These are all of the questions that I answer for my clients even if they're not asked. To help you better understand, here are 5 things you should always find out from your designer:... #1. "Will you provide me with variations of my logo or design?" #2. "What final files will you be providing me with once my design is confirmed?" #3. "How many revisions will I get?" #4. "When can I see the first rough design?" #5. "Do you offer any other services?" Let me know if this was helpful and if you would like more of these! #tipoftheday #askyourdesigner #graphicdesigner #graphicdesign #workwithme #iknowthings #instagramhack #socialmediaspecialist #millennial #thesocialpodcast #podcastcreator #mediatip #socialmediatip #businesstips #successtips #entrepreneurtips #successtip #tipsandtricks #digitalmarketingtips #instagramtips #website #buildyourwebsite #branding #networkmarketing See more

What is the first thing you're going to do once this is all over? I'm going to go to the movies! I am going to a giant cup of pop, order those awful theater nachos, and get 4 orders of pretzel bites #cineplex I'm not even going to care what's playing! (hopefully, it's a Disney movie) ... We are at home, but I feel like I'm losing time for myself... Does anyone else feel this way? Does that even make sense? I find that I don't have time to create things for myself like drawing & painting. It used to be that once I came home from the office, I would have time for myself and get lost in my own designs, but now my home has become my office. ... For all of my fellow creators, how do you find time to create for YOU? #graphicdesigner #socialmediaplanner #contentcreator #workfromhome #homeoffice #missmyoffice #selfemployedartist #fulltimeartist #fulltimedesigner #graphicdesign #designwithme #creativecorner #shareyourideas #callalldesigners #creator #freelancedesigner #ipaddrawing #procreate #drawwithprocreate #appledrawing

I saw a chart something like this while I was searching for some inspiration. Keep readying for Emily's motivational minute: Sometimes I need a small reminder that if I want to get where I want to be, I need to put in the work. A CRAPTON of work! I have come a long way over the last few years and I am thankful for all the opportunities that as come my way, but I have a long way to go to reach my goals... Nothing worth having in this world comes easy. It is easy to loose track of your goals because they seem so out of reach, but if you put in the work, it will happen for you. Who else has fallen into this hole? You know what I'm talking about. This little piece of tech has become part of my daily routine. I add it to my to-do list to make sure I collect all the fruit from my trees, catch all the fish, and make sure Timmy & Tommy are behaving themselves #animalcrossingaddition Judge me if you must. This is my life now...

"Just follow your old routine" "Cheer up! You get to work in your PJ's" "Aren't you happy that you get to spend more time with your husband?" I had a different post planned for today, but I needed to get this off my mind.... I get a lot of these responses every time I mention that I'm having a hard time working from home. I know that everyone is trying to see the positive side, but sometimes that's not what I want to hear. I'm not usually one to talk about my mental health on social, but I'm hoping that if I share this, I could reach someone who might be feeling the same. This is a sensitive time for everyone and we are all experiencing the effect of self isolation differently. Let’s try not to judge others for how they feel and try to understand their frustrations. Anyways, tag someone who needs to hear this. Or if you just want someone to chat with, send me a message. You don't have to feel this way alone See more

I haven't been very active on social media lately, and let me tell you why: Social Boredom! With everyone being stuck at home and with really only one thing on their minds, people are very bored. And when people are bored, they try and fill their time with anything they can, and in today's day, that means social media. ... I understand that what is going on in the world is scary, and it is affecting me just like most others. But for the benefit of my own mental health, I am limiting myself to the amount of time I spend on social and taking this time to ground myself in what makes me feel human. I will be focusing on building my content and prioritizing my clients. My engagement just won't be as active as it normally is but I will be doing my best. For anyone who feels the same and is looking for some human interaction, send me a message Thank you all for your support! See more

There will always be someone doing what you do. How do you plan to keep track of your competitors? It’s intimidating to think that someone could possibly be doing something better than you are. So how about you think of what you can offer your followers that your neighbour doesn’t. ... Productivity tips for 2020 1. Track your online time It can really put things into perspective when you track the minutes(or hours) online or on a project. It can help you reevaluate certain things if they are taking up too much of your time. ... 2. Block time for yourself I know work is fun and all, but make sure you block time for some downtime. Whether that's mindlessly scrolling Tik Tok, painting your toes, or taking a long shower. 3. Batch tasks When you are going through your to-do list, do tasks that fall into the same theme. It will help you keep your mind on track. 4. Two-minute rule If a task will take you two minutes or less, JUST DO IT NOW! It will be an easy thing to cross off your to-do list. Who's ready for 2020?! Have a desk job and are worried about having "Good posture"? In the first picture is a typical slouched position, a larger curve in the thoracic spine, ...and a posterior pelvic tilt In the second picture is a more traditional "good posture", bigger lumber lordosis and more upright in general So is one better or worse than the other? Short answer, NO. If you hold your body/joint in any position long enough, things will eventually start to ache and get sore. Your body wants to move, and joints want to be put through their full ranges of motion. Instead of focusing on one "good" posture, go with what feels comfortable, and try to focus on regular movement. That can include desk stretches, standing stretches, changing sitting position and frequent breaks that involve getting up from your desk and moving. There is minimal evidence for one "bad" posture being associated with back pain or pathology. When in doubt, MOVEMENT is key. #back #backpainrelief #posture #goodposture #deskwork #physicaltherapy #physiotherapist #hamont #physioworkout #noihamilton #painrelief #sportsrecovery #sportsrehab #injuryprevention #sportsinjury @ Hamilton, Ontario See more
