It's been an honour once again to direct The Kingsgate Chorus for a fantastic online season. Here is our holiday offering in support of The Bloom Group Community Services Society. Enjoy, Share, Donate! The Kingsgate Chorus is an East Van community choir that welcomes singers from all walks of life. In lieu of our holiday benefit concert, we offer you this seasonal recording and invite you to make a charitable donation, through Canada Helps, to support The Bloom Group. Our g...oal is to raise $2000 by midnight Dec 25th for this long-standing organization that works to fill critical gaps in services to the Vancouver Downtown Eastside. Kingsgate Chorus Sings Blue Christmas: https://vimeo.com/491025637 To give and learn more, follow the link: https://www.canadahelps.org//the-kingsgate-chorus-sings-b/ Thank you Lisa Cinar for the amazing artwork, Brendan Steele for the guitar accompaniment, Jenny Ritter for remote support, and roomies Jenny Banai and Corbin Murdoch for singing with me in the living room so the choir could learn their parts!

This summer I had the great pleasure of penning lyrics and melody for a new single by Vancouver's Tell Adeline. Brendan Steele recorded me by running cables through my living room window from the porch. Video and single coming out next week, keep an eye out! Thanks Mary Matheson Photography for capturing stills from this surreal video process, safely and craftily done with Heather Dawn Sparks on projections and Trent Freeman on camera.

Thanks to Deep Roots Music Festival for including me and the Aerialists in your Retrospective. How lovely to be squished between Jill Barber and Corin Raymond, a truly delicious musical sandwich ;). What a beautiful festival, here's to many more.
