Keep those little ears safe!
Love this pretend food set. In our house its been used to make pretend picnics, play grocery store, feed toy babies and even as a teething toy . this set stands the test of time which is why it made the cut as one of #emilyspicks at the Rocking Horse Owen Sound. Find this and other great Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers. #buylocal #OwenSound
Happy day 1 of your advent calendar! If you don't have one yet, consider a toy calendar like the LEGO, Playmobil, or Schleich calendars. We put ours away after the holidays and bring it back out as part of our decorations.... and we play with it again. Great for pretend play, taking turns (everyone wants the sleigh) and this morning I even used it for some articulation practice with my son! Check out The Rocking Horse Owen Sound if you haven't got yours yet! Maybe you'll even get a deal to reward your procrastination
Lately my little ones can't get enough of these magnetic letters. They use them to practice their letter sounds, to write words. We also use them to talk about how the letter p can flip and turn into a d. Don't have a magnetic fridge? Add a white board to your wall!
My kids this book! They are amazed at the huge fit little llama throws in the store :)
These advent calendars rock my world. Way better than chocolate and you get to collect a new item for your pretend play scene. We've had hockey, farm and horse themes and they are the best! Get them at The Rocking Horse Owen Sound and while you're at it check out their awesome toys and games. #Christmas #playmobil
It's a great day to get a package in the mail #ctopp-2 #phonologicalawareness #assessment
Want to help your toddler learn colors? Instead of saying: "Get the red ball." Try: "Get the ball that's red."... No, it may not roll off your tongue quite as easily or naturally, but using the color word AFTER the object helps kids learn colors best. Give it a try :-)
Love reading this book and The Hanen Centre had a neat review with tips on reading it to encourage language comprehension :) #books #literacy
I'm not alone in my screen time fears!
Here is Emily's First Post ....
Super happy to be teaming up with the rocking horse. Watch their page where I'll be sharing my favorite toys and ideas on how to use them to support communication!
