Free Workshop Alert! Attention all creatives here who have been curious about jumping into the realm of art licensing! Juliet Meeks @julietmeeksdesign is teaching a ~ FREE ~ online workshop, How to Get Noticed and License Your Art, on both January 27th and 28th (next week)! From personal experience, making the leap of faith from editorial and advertising work to art licensing can be confusing, overwhelming and intimidating, but Juliet’s knowledge and shared experience with l...icensing has been a great aid. Juliet will be sharing advice on entering the licensing world without the representation of an agent or incurring the staggering fees of participating in trade shows; a few of the many stumbling points of an early licensing career. I’ve personally purchased Juliet’s quick guide, How To License Your Art, and I truly feel that these free workshops and (more so) her larger course (below) are both an invaluable guide to navigating the world of licensing, and a wonderful opportunity to ask some questions.
