If you have already booked in for 2021, or have a gown with me from 2020 that has been postponed, do not fear, I've got you covered! We will get back to fittings once lockdown is lifted and we can safely meet. In the meantime our family has shifted gears into a new business, and you will find me serving up soup at The Soulful Spoon. Vintage rework is definitely my favourite kind of project. This gorgeous bride had me redesign her grandmothers wedding outfit into an entirely new dress for her reception!

I love how technology has already impacted weddings with the ability to share event photos instantly, now imagine being at a wedding, you go to send a Snapchat and the couples custom wedding filter pops up! Yes, its a thing.

Id love to see something like this locally! I especially love their Wedding Recyclery events where you can buy preloved wedding decor, attire and anything else that can be reused.

Our renovations have been all about freshening up the workspace and fitting room of our new studio but whenever possible trying to repurpose furniture we already have. This blog has lots of great furniture upcycles and today we worked on one of our own. Stay tuned for the results of our sewing table project!
