Sometimes a bit of colour brightens your day... these orange sapphires were screaming joy at me so I had to make something with them. Set in a one of a kind seashell inspired, low profile setting in solid 14k gold.

This tidal pool treasure ring is heading to England. So thankful to get to work with amazing people from all over the world to make special things.

All stacked up! It was such a pleasure to get to work with this lovely bride to be to create a custom wedding ring set with blue-green sapphire in 14k yellow and rose gold. Her mother had a three-part wedding set, so she wanted to continue the tradition in her own way

I haven’t really posted this one yet. But she had been living on my hand for a few months. This year was my 40th birthday and I wanted to make myself my dream dream... well, let’s be honest I have more rings being dreamed up everyday, but most of them are to belong on other people’s hands. It is the moon rise in 22k yellow gold salt and pepper moon diamond and wee pale yellow diamonds in the halo.

In a constant pursuit of making the comfiest earrings I can, while of course maintaining my nature-embracing, wabisabi sparkle...

I am definitely using Valentine’s Day as an excuse to spam you with all the love hearts. I will stop soon, promise. This lil ancient love pendant is my favourite right now and I only have one in solid gold.

Day two of the @owldesignerfair Thank you for all the amazing support!! I briefly sold out of these little pearl pieces, but stayed up late making more and am now restocked on line with a couple more pairs. ... Pearls are the gemstone that is supposed to bring the wearer a sense of calm. Might explain my obsession with wanting to work with them so much this year ... and maybe why so many of you seem to be connecting with them. We all need to welcome in ALL the calm during these strange times. Plus- pearls are pretty!

Apologies in advance for the long post... Us BC folks just got a new list of guidelines. While I am in total support of them and feel the need to keep each other safe, I am also a bit sad. Even the super Covid thoughtful holiday markets (outdoor, booked private time slot so there would be no congregating , mask mandatory- it all sounded safer to me personally than going to a big box store) are cancelled. I get it. It’s not essential, but those opportunities to sell direct to... people sometimes feel essential to artists. I have been around a making things for a while and some of you seem to have already found my website, so THANK YOU! Seriously! I think the lack of holiday markets will be okay for me. I was just thinking about all the ridiculously talented people in our community that have been making their butts off to get ready for those markets and now won’t get to show their work. Let’s go look at their websites! I am going to tag a bunch of amazing makers of things that I really respect and please tag more if I missed you or someone you know. Maybe we can all take some time to check out their work and maybe it will help some of us find meaningful gifts? I hope Pictured- my new Athena earrings... I made myself a pair too and have been wearing them non stop. They make me feel strong and badass while navigating these wild times from my little studio.

This piece is a version of my moonscape pendant that I got to custom make. We set diamonds that were worn by her mother into the textured silver... something is casual enough to wear daily, but sparkly and special to honour the memory of her mom.

New earrings! These hand carved babies have been in the works for a while and am excited to finally share them. These plus a whoooooole bunch of new pieces hitting the website over the next week from this new collection in silver, yellow bronze and quite a few new pieces in solid gold too! This collection pulls inspiration from ancient jewellery and artifacts combined with my constant inspiration- our oceany nature on the west coast... kind of like jewellery made for a west coast mermaid 1000 years ago. That’s a thing, right?

This green sapphire ring is just finished and freshly listed to the website This one was inspired by antique baroque style jewellery that maybe would have once been filled with swirly details, but this ring was dropped in the ocean and rolled around in the waves for a few hundred years and now all the details are soft, like the ocean left her own imprint. That’s obviously not really what happened, but it’s the fairytale I gave it while I was making it

While I’m sharing new things... this is the Lana pendant. She’s just little, but has a lot going on. A stunning freshwater pearl is nestled in all the silver bubbles. We made some matching stud earrings too!

Okay, I’m getting the feeling that some of you love salt and pepper diamonds as much as I do, no? Every time I make one it flies away in a hurry, and I’m thrilled because it means I get to make more. This sun and moon sparkler is flying away to a lovely human in California this week

These are custom rings I got to make for the most incredible couple. They were asked to be models for styled elopement photoshoot by a team of talented wedding professionals, and to everyone’s surprise they ended up really eloping that day. The joy and love that spills out in the photo’s would make anyone goofy grin... just loving the love over here
