Emma House is a Participating Charity in the 2021 Shaw Birdies for Kids (BFK) - Presented by AltaLink. Funds raised through the Birdies for Kids program, will support us in creating an updated space for moms to learn essential skills through our Life Skills Program. This week our residents participated in an art therapy life skills class facilitated by our amazing practicum students. Painting is a great way to manage stress and anxiety while increasing emotional awareness and calmness. This last week had the amazing opportunity to receive a complete disinfection of our residence by Proaxion Canada. Proaxion Canada have been experts on disinfection since 2017.
