Join Pastor Darren on Wednesdays at 8 a.m. for a time of corporate prayer in the sanctuary. We will follow social distancing protocols and a mask is required. We pray for our leadership, the congregation, the church as whole knowing "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16)

#173. There Is A Friend Who Sticks Closer Than A Brother

We as a church family traditionally fill a hamper and sponsor a family each Christmas season through Operation Scugog. This year, they have modified the Christmas Campaign and will instead be collecting gift cards for friends in need in our community. If you would like to donate food, gift cards, or make a monetary donation, you can drop it off at Operation Scugog (portable beside Victory Christian Centre) at 593 Alma Street on Tuesday October 20th, 27th, November 3rd, and 10th from 2pm - 4pm. If you can’t make these collection times, please make arrangements to drop off at the Emmanuel office between 9am and 1pm on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday and we will ensure it is delivered to Operation Scugog.

Don't forget to register your team for the Fall Family Amazing Race, beginning in the Emmanuel parking lot at 2pm on Saturday, November 7th. The Fall Family Amazing Race is a socially distanced, Scugog-wide scavenger hunt! Each car/team is subject to a registration fee of $10. Please follow all Covid related guidelines when creating your team and participating in the event (i.e. one family/social circle per vehicle, wear a mask where applicable.)
