Congratulations to our very own Brooklyn Burns on completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology at Acadia University today was supposed to be Brooklyn’s Graduation Day! During her four years at Acadia, Brooklyn volunteered for several initiatives including the Acadia S.M.I.L.E Program (Sensory Motor Instructional Leadership Experience), Girls Night Out (Big Sister to girls ages 8-14), she participated in the Acadia Robot Programming Competition & Hannah Miller Memorial Hockey... Tournament. On top of all that, she has been with Petley-Hare & Emmerson for 5 years and in that time became RIBO licensed and always managed to care for our renewing clients. She is a team player and always with a smile! We are so proud of you, Brooklyn!

A winter storm is likely to hit the Durham Region Wednesday afternoon and continue through Wednesday night. Snow is expected to begin tonight or early Wednesday before becoming heavy Wednesday afternoon. Heavy snow will continue through Wednesday night before tapering to flurries by Thursday morning. 10 to 25 cm of snowfall is expected to accumulate by Thursday morning.
