Social distancing may be slowly easing as the numbers of cases drop but what will that mean for your social circle? Over the past few weeks, I’ve turned inwards and found more space in my life to get clear on what I value in relationships and how to better nurture those connections. I definitely feel the pull to see friends and family and also want to rethink my perspective on my social circles. Quality over quantity for me from now on. How has social distancing impacted your social life? Are you relieved to not need an excuse to stay in or are you eager to see others in the flesh? Do you hope to go back to the way it was before Covid-19 or have you gotten insight into a new way of connecting with others?

Others use their hearts’ ability to connect with others, feel emotion, and stay in the present moment as their guiding principles for decision making. With so many differences, some subtle and others more obvious, occurring in our daily routines from Covid-19, it can be easy to lose track of just how we are adapting to all the changes. I've definitely felt a higher baseline of stress during my days even though I should have less to worry about than before. Simplified, grief is adapting to change and with so much uncertainty, it is natural that we might feel a bit crazy if we don't understand grief. Take a breath. You're responding naturally. You're not alone in this process.
