A new COFFEE BREAK season will begin with a Welcome breakfast (breakfast casseroles, muffins, loaves, yogurt, etc.) at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2018 at the Emo Christian Reformed Church, 18 Meadow Street in Emo. Our breakfast will be followed by a time of fellowship and an introduction to our first Bible study, Discover the Sermon on the Mount, which will begin on September 25th. Coffee Break is a nondenominational small group Bible study that is open to a...ll women of the community. Study material is provided, and no previous Bible knowledge is necessary. While moms are participating in Bible study, children, ages 2 and up are invited to participate in Little Lambs. There is also a nursery for infants and toddlers. A reminder that Sunday School classes will be starting up again this week Sunday, September 8. We will again be calling all of the students forward for a special blessing during the service. The Junior Sunday School students (Age 3-Grade 1) will be dismissed from the sanctuary following the blessing, and the Senior Sunday School students (Grades 2-8) will leave following the sermon. To mark this special Sunday of new beginnings, we invite all members of the congregation to a LINGER LUNCH following the service. All those with last names beginning with A-P are asked to bring a pot of soup, and those with last names beginning with Q-Z are asked to bring prepared buns.
