HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!!! Emphatec’s engineers have produced their first printed circuit board using additive manufacturing. Using a Voltera PCB printer (made in Canada) a prototype PCB compatible with our new EXCLAIM housing was recently produced. The printer creates traces from a conductive ink and has a drill attachment that can create holes for through hole components. Components are soldered to the traces using a low temperature solder. The result is a low cost prototype that can be used for proof-of-concept testing.
