There’s been a lot of chatter about a recent oil comparison released on Social Media. We’ve dug deep into the analysis and facts about many of the oil options out there and always strive to offer you and your horses the BEST. We’ve reached out to several companies and we were quite honestly astonished with what we found. Some wouldn’t share their ingredients or guaranteed analysis and another gave us several different responses when asked what their products Omega 3:6 ratio... was. This same company didn’t answer at all when asked about their product’s primary ingredient and the fact this type of oil is very high in linoleic acid (Omega 6) which can actually be pro-inflammatory. While many oils are better than no oils, not all oils are created equal! Transparency is key and if a company chooses to mislead you, hide information from you or post inaccurate or false information about another product this is a huge red flag! Ingredients and guaranteed analysis should always be available to you and if they are not, or if a company is not open about their product ingredients; leading you to believe there is more or less of something than there truly is. Something is just not right. We feel the information that was recently released is very deceptive and largely inaccurate. Use caution when purchasing supplements for your horses.
