Today I literally supported a 5 year old who climbed an ever so big tree. Although the success of climbing the tree was something to be proud of, the conversation around self care and importance was at the heart of the conversation. Self worth and esteem starts to develop so find ways to celebrate your child's participation and responsibility they need to hear words such as " value, importance, grateful, proud of yourself and be a part of the process.
