Hey Friends! One of our beautiful organizers, shared this post from her friend who has been to a retreat before and this is what she shared about the experience...: Romantic getaways are crucial to a healthy marriage, and family vacations are wonderful, but there is nothing that feeds the soul like a weekend getaway with a group of amazing women. Self care is so important, and it comes in many forms. It is so much more than pedicures and massages. It encompasses our physical, mental, and spiritual well being. I attended my first women’s only weekend eight years ago, not knowing what to expect, and I haven't missed a year since. Personal growth and self development are some of the most important activities that we can do to become the best version of ourselves. I always look forward to learning from all of the speakers, and connecting with a tribe of women from all different backgrounds. I have left this weekend every year filled with gratitude for all that I learned, for the connections and friendships made, and for the wonderful memories. If you are still on the fence about attending this empowerment weekend, take it from me, your cup will be filled and you will be so glad you took a weekend for you. I’m going to be honest - September is one of the busiest months in my life. It’s great that the kids are back to school and routine starts to happen after summer, but it’s also a lot of work to get back into the grove of school, homework, extracurricular activities and celebrating my daughter’s birthday, all while working around my husband’s busy schedule. Every year I let September get to me, unless I plan the things that make me HAPPY and fill my cup.
