Yesterday we were delighted to welcome back Vadim, a graduate of Emunah’s Afula residence and a hero to many. Vadim suffered a family tragedy aged nine and came to us when he was 13 after many years of difficulties. After graduating Afula, and spending three years in the army, Vadim returned as a guide, to give back and help other children fulfil their hopes and dreams.... One night in 2012, a fire broke out in the boarding school and Vadim saved dozens of children while also finding help. Many owe him their lives. Two years ago, Vadim left us to get married and build his own family. So we were so excited to welcome Vadim back to Afula once more as he spoke to us about the importance of friendship and presented holiday baskets to the children. #WorldEmunah #EmunahOfAmerica #EmunahCanada #EmunahAustralia #Israel #Charity #Afula #EmunahMiracles

We were happy that the Ministry of Welfare chose the Emunah Bet Saba Elazraki Children’s Home to launch the computer distribution project for children at risk in children’s homes. This year has proved how much access to computers is necessary for the children to connect with families, with studies, with friends and with the outside world. Yehuda Kohn, the wonderful Director of the home, hosted and guided the ceremony.
