Do we actually realize how much activity we get from going to work/school/child activities/personal activities/groceries/daily life activities? So many people, including myself, did not replace these activities within our households, during covid. Most everyone stopped for a moment. Enjoyed a moment alone, or a moment with our family that made us laugh, cry, fight, or reconcile. ... Did we learn forgiveness? I know I did. We got to learn about ourselves, and our loved ones. How we deal with pressuring situations. In my experience, as I do not drive, even out for a walk was questionable. I have a high Motabolism, have a hard time gaining weight, and covid actually helped me. Slowed me down enough to enjoy the meal in front of me and the people around me. I gained a few pounds! I am proud of that! For one of my friends was the opposite. She gained weight and is trying to figure out why as her diet Never changed. However, her lifestyle did. No work, no outings with friends. What the hell? How to adapt?! How do we accept change? What coping mechanisms did you use if you were off work during covid? I feel we need to talk about more than the statistics. What has covid done for you? Your family? Your being? I Thank #COVID19 for teaching me to enjoy every moment! My children are grown, married and far away. I love every FaceTime/text and conversation we have. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" True statement! I know and hope this is all coming to an end.
