CALLING ALL ANGELS! "Angels of the Streets" is the grassroots response to helping our city's Homeless and our most underserved. If you would like to partner and donate we are accepting e-transfers at this time which goes directly into our account and we distribute to the most current need. Our volunteers will be your hands and feet and distribute food, relocate for shelter, and provide warm clothing and winter items to the homeless. You can send your donations to:... [email protected] If prompted for a password, use the password: angel This donation goes directly to the effort of sheltering, feeding and providing warm clothing and winter gear such as sleeping bags, mittens and toques. We accept clothing donations and boots as well and any food donations are welcomed. Contact us at [email protected] to arrange a pick up and one of our volunteers will be in contact with you. **The MOST CURRENT need right now is to raise funds to shelter the homeless in partnering hotels in Winnipeg. We would like to also extend the stays of some of the 15 people that are currently in hotels. This is our most urgent need.** Our other needs are warm jackets, men's boots, and winter gear. And we are also taking food donations at this time. We would like to thank Our Partnering Hotels in Winnipeg and one to mention is the Downtown Holiday Inn Winnipeg and it's Operators for their kindness in offering greatly discounted rates to accomodate our City's Homeless.
